Grilled Cheese Sandwich Recipe

Ingredients

  • 4 slices 4 slices of whole wheat or another type of bread of your choice.
  • 2 tablespoons Butter, (vegan butter for a vegan variant)
  • 1 cup Grated cheese, your choice of melting cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, etc.)
  • ½ cup Veggies, such as bell peppers, onions, tomatoes, or mushrooms, cut into 1/2 cup slices
  • Pepper and salt as desired.

Instructions

  • Preheat the Grill or toaster first to medium heat.
  • Place butter on each bread slice on one side.
  • Over the bread slices, equally spread half of the shredded cheese.
  • On top of the cheese, arrange the thinly sliced vegetables.
  • To taste, add salt and pepper to the veggies.
  • Spread the remaining cheese over the veggies and Put the sandwiches on the heated griddle.
  • Cook slices for 2-3 minutes or until it turns little brown.
  • Remove the sandwiches from the skillet or griddle once the cheesehas melted and both sides are properly toasted.
  • Before slicing the sandwiches in half, give them a minute or two to cool.
  • If you wish to add a cheese slice instead of shredded cheese, then add a cheese slice to your cheese slices sandwich recipe.
