Veg Sandwich Recipe 

Vegetarian sandwiches are fantastic because there are so many different variants and pairings you can attempt based on your preferences and the ingredients you have on hand. Here is an easy veg sandwich recipe to make your tongue happy.

Ingredients

  • 8 slices Whole wheat or multigrain bread, at your discretion
  • 1 large Thinly sliced tomato
  • 1 Finely sliced cucumber
  • 1 Finely sliced tiny red onion
  • 1 Finely sliced bell pepper
  • Leaves of lettuce
  • 4 tablespoons Of your favourite spread, such as Mayo
  • Pepperand salt as desired
  • Slices of cheese or grated cheese are optional
  • ketchup, mustard, or your favourite sauce is optional

Instructions

  • Spread out the bread pieces on a spotless table or cutting board.
  • On one side of each slice of bread, apply a thin layer of mayonnaise or another spread of your choice.
  • Place four slices of bread with lettuce leaves on them.
  • On top of the lettuce, arrange the tomato, cucumber, red onion, and bell pepper slices in layers.
  • Season the layers of vegetables with salt and pepper, if desired.
  • If you're using cheese, top the vegetables with a piece or some grated cheese.
  • Add a drizzle of your preferred sauce, such as mustard, ketchup, or mustard.
  • Spreadside down, and add the last slices of bread to each sandwich as a topping.
  • Tolightly compress the ingredients together, and lightly press the sandwiches.
  • Cut the sandwiches in half, creating two triangles, using a sharp knife.
  • Your veg cheese sandwich recipe is ready to serve.
