Paneer Pakora Recipe

Ingredients

  • 350 grams Paneer, cut into cubes
  • 1 cup 1 besan (chickpea flour)
  • 1 teaspoon One of turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon Red Chilli Powder
  • ½ teaspoon Garam Masala Powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil for deep frying

Instructions

  • Whisk together the besan, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, garam masala powder, baking soda and salt.
  • Add water to the batter, whisking until it is smooth and thick.
  • Add the paneer cubes to the batter and toss to coat evenly.
  • Heat oil in a deep fryer or pot to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Carefully drop the paneer cubes into the hot oil and fry until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes.
  • Remove the paneer pakoras from the oil and drain on paper towels.
  • Serve immediately with chutney or your favourite dipping sauce.
