Aloo Paneer Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 Tablespoons Oil
  • 1 Teaspoon Cumin Seeds
  • 1 Medium Onion, finely chopped
  • 1 Tablepoon Ginger-Garlic paste
  • 2 Medium Tomatoes, finely chopped
  • ½ Teaspoon Turmeric Powder
  • 1 Teaspoon Cumin Powder
  • 1 Teaspoon Coriander Powder
  • ½ Teaspoon Garam Masala
  • ¼ Teaspoon Chili Powder
  • 2 Medium Potatoes, diced
  • 14 Ounces Paneer, cubed
  • Salt to taste
  • Water as needed
  • ½ Tablepoon Cilantro, chopped, for garnishing (optional)

Instructions

  • Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Add cumin seeds and let them cook until you smell the aroma.
  • Add onions and sauté until golden brown.
  • Add ginger-garlic paste and cook until you experience a raw aroma.
  • Add chopped tomatoes and cook until they get soft and release juice
  • Sprinkle turmeric powder, cumin powder, and coriander powder.
