Ingredients
1tablespoontoasted cumin seeds.
1cupfresh mint leaves
1tbsplemon juiceor tamarind.
1teaspoonblack salt
½teaspoonregular salt
½teaspoonginger powder (optional)
½teaspoonblack pepper
½teaspoonchaat masala
3–4cups cold water
Ice cubesoptional
Instructions
Toast cumin in low heat until it is fragrant, at next let it cool and pound to a fine powder.
Cleanse and prepare a fine paste of mint leaves with the help of water.
Add lemon juice or tamarind pulp for tanginess.
Add black & regular salt, chat masala, black peeper in paste to mint and combine.
Throw in some cold water and stir until it is all combined.
Ice cubes may be added when one wants and served ice cold.
Notes
Always roast cumin on low flame for best aroma
Adjust salt and tanginess to taste
Best served fresh for maximum flavor
