Step 1: Wash and cut the mangoes. To make chilled mango shakes we always have to refrigerate cut mangoes overnight.
Step 2: If you want to use ice cream without the nuts, add 2 scoops ofice cream for each serving.
Step 3: Add sugar, honey, maple syrup, or any other selected sweetener. Start with 1 teaspoon per serving. If using ice cream (mango shake ice cream), omit the sugar.
Step 4: Add cold mangoes. Each ½ cup mango pulp or ¾ cup chopped mango will make 1 serving.
Step 5: Add the cardamom powder or vanilla extract to the chilled milk (vegan or dairy).
Step 6: Blend until very smooth. If you add nuts, make sure they are not over mixed.
Step 7: Taste test and adjust the ingredients to your taste.
Step 8: Process until smooth and transfer the mango milkshake into serving glasses, then top with chopped almonds or any of the other garnish options.
